Currently all at bigkidgenius are past or current students or staff at James Cook University. However bigkidgenius is entirely separate from James Cook University with no shared responsibilities or ownership by the university.

The employees and consultants own 100% of Big Kid Genius, so the company is run not only for their own, but also the customers’ benefit and not for profit oriented shareholders or investors.

We are driven by a combination of socialism (see below), strong leadership and the principles of science.

At Big Kid Genius we combine youth with experience. Several persons have more than 20 years experience, while others are the cream of latest 'crop' of computer geeks.

What we all have in common is a devotion to the planer and quality of work, to follow the principles of bigkidgenius: to support sustainable development by promoting green industried in areas of valuable sensitive environments and to bring jobs to the regions.

We are based in Cairns and Townsville, the two largest towns in North Queensland, Australia. Both are popular tropical holiday destinations.

North Queensland region is a topical Paradise ranging semi-arid country to Tropical Rainforest and of course the world famous Great Barrier Reef.

The informal atmosphere at the tropical holiday destinations brings out much creativity which is reflected in the pioneering technologies on display at bigkidgenius.com.
